On Friday, we will be meeting in Goldrick Computer Lab Due for Tuesday: Add-on one final segment onto your "Labels" assignment: look at a tangible object that represents your growth or is symbolic of your growth in the area that you are focusing on (your label). Develop this symbolism with reflection and description (consider Allie's Glove). Please print out the three sections (vignette, reflection, symbolism) and submit it tomorrow. Due for Friday: 1. Submit your portfolio in class. Your portfolio should consist of the following 4 pieces: 1. An analytical piece (think major paper written about a work we did this year) 2. A creative/reflective/personal piece 3. Your in-class writing on pie 4. Your writing reflection. Please print out a clean copy of your analytical and creative/reflective piece for your portfolio. 2. Write your Freshmen Letter: this is a letter that will be returned to you at the end of your senior year of high school. Reflect upon your year - in which ways did you grow, what insights did you learn, what do you value today and how is that different from the beginning of the year? What ideas of adulthood and adolescences do you hope to hold onto?
