I was battling a 100 degree fever as well as the disappointment of snow melting away from the forecast.
Here's a head's up: The final draft of our profile is due on Friday! Totally snuck up on me too. Hopefully you can put your energy this week into completing whatever interviews and observations that you need to do in order to make your profile rife with the "showing" and the "telling" that helps your reader not only understand why your subject's story is important to understand but also see what this story looks like! I had some ideas for how to incorporate more of Orlean's writing, but most of that will take place in class and next week - we'll be looking at her work for our in-class explication next week!
