Here's our homework over the course of the next week and a half: Due for Thursday, May 18 1. Finish reading The Catcher in the Rye 2. Complete four out of our five reading quizzes That's right; as a class, you will get approximately two weeks to finish reading our book without interruption: I will refrain from structuring lessons or activities on a daily basis, forcing you to dive deeply into a specific passage before you finish the book. In fact, the only demand that I will place upon you is to finish taking your reading quizzes by the end of class on May 18th - when you wish to do this is completely up to you and your pace. Our classtime will be focused on simply reading independently. Here are some notes that you might find useful:
